Adopted Horse Updates

We have some sad and some happy Adopted Horse News:

Sadly, Adopted Horse Junior passed away in his Washington State home. He died of natural causes and had a wonderful easy life during the last years. Thank you to Kathy who loved and cared for him, we know how much you will miss him. Sharil also had a strong connection with Junior. Sharil's husband Anthony used to ride Junior at the old Shiloh- now they are riding together again in Greener Pastures. Junior had bad feet, not that you can tell from this photo! I think he is now bucking and galloping with out pain- hold on Anthony!

Some really happy Adopted horse news- Elvis is doing wonderfully in his home. Here is a nice email that I received from his family:

"As you can see, he is the love of my daughter's life. We thank God everyday that you saw him at the auction in Pennsylvania. We also share his story with everyone we meet- no one can believe he had to be rescued. They seem to think it's only old, crippled, and sick horses at risk... But as the owner of an ex-racing thoroughbred too, I know how easily these beautiful creatures are heartlessly discarded.Thank you, thank you, thank you for making a difference!~The Deeney Family"

Elvis, now renamed Comet, looking very smart a recent horse show in Kansas where he now lives...

What a team!

A perfect match...

And it pays off! Congrats!
