A Beautiful Saturday at Shiloh

As always, it was a busy Saturday. The weather was perfect and lots of people were out volunteering and visiting.

From the Turn Out's fenceline, Tanis flirted with Sanctuary mares, Charity and Marilyn...

The Okay Corral pasture...
Cute little Image in Little Vacation Village...

Boone and Baby Spice kicked up their heels in one of the turn outs...

Priceless, greeting carrot bearing visitors at the gate to Little Vacation Village...

Capone enjoyed the sun while he ate his hay...

Dave installed some lights on the front of the Mare Motel...

Belmont, looking cute in the Big Pasture. He is one of our Special Needs horses- see his crippled front leg? It looks awful and we rescued him from the slaughter auction thinking that we would bring him home, show him kindness and love and when his leg got too painful, put him to sleep. That was years ago and he is doing great! You would never even know that he is crippled, at times he canters and gallops around the pasture with his friends...

Echo Echo took a nice sun nap in the deep sand of his pasture...

I really like this photo- it shows volunteer Elaine out in the Okay Corral pasture. She likes to spend time in the pasture with Stretch and Vanilla, here she is walking with Stretch, who is happily just walking along with her.

Some of the pasture horses eating their Equine Senior. This is Stetson, Soot, Falcon and Pablo...

Three friends in the pasture eating together by the Mesquites...
We have been evaluating some of the horses for adoptions. Here are some short videos of Gringo and Bonanza, each one is under saddle for the first time since the arrived at Shiloh:
