Charlie vs Felipe

Felipe was messing around and decided to hop up on Wanderer Charlie- but of course Charlie had other ideas- like spinning around and shmushing Felipe leg into the medical unit and scraping him off onto the corral panel...

Hopping on...

Going for a ride...

And Felipe was up and onto the medical unit!

Some good old fashioned Shiloh fun!

Ochocinco is looking for her new home!

This interesting mare was found outside of Shiloh's fence line one morning. We quickly figured out she was pregnant and months later she gave birth to a healthy colt, Cairo. Cairo has since been adopted and now Ochocinco is ready to move on to her new life as well.

She was restarted under saddle and is still being worked with but she is now trotting quietly under saddle in the arena and learning to head out on trail. She is sound and healthy but still needs an experienced rider.

Adoption fee: $400.00

Now Offering- Shiloh Trail Rides!

Shiloh Horse Rescue now offers scheduled trail rides on our rescue horses through the beautiful desert surrounding the ranch.

One hour long Trail Ride: $60.00 per person

At this time we have a three person maximum per ride.

UPCOMING RIDES: *

Saturday, May 26th at 11:30am

Sunday, May 27th at 11:30 am

*Other Trail ride times/dates may also be scheduled directly with Jill at 702-480-8906 or shilohhorse@aol.com

A great outing for all horse lovers no matter your level of experience! Take a guided trail ride on one of our wonderful rescued horses. Learn basic horsemanship as well as you will be taught how to groom and take care of your horse after your ride. We don't believe that a rider should just hop off and pass their horse onto someone else to take care of- you will be expected to participate in caring for your horse after you have enjoyed a slow paced and relaxing desert ride.

All trail rides are guided and you will only walk. Riders are required to wear a riding helmet (provided by Shiloh). Jeans or long pants and boots with a small heel or sturdy tennis shoes are required for safety. We will provide you with everything else that you will need. Note: forms will need to signed by a parent or guardian for all riders under 18 years of age before mounting. (All riders will need to sign a liability form.)

Please email Jill at shilohhorse@aol.com or call/text Jill at 702-480-8906 to reserve space.

Three people Max per trail ride.
