We had another special visitor out to Shiloh yesterday, Mikey from AZ drove up for a visit. She wanted to see Keller again, the blind mare she helped save and trailered to Shiloh. Everyone had a great time- especially the blind girls- they were given a wonderful homemade carrot cake! Big thanks to Mercy as well who donated her hard earned $10.00 to the horses! Read Mikey's Shiloh adventures here!
Mikey, I do love the Keller book idea, I have actually been thinking about writing a Shiloh book as well. We have so many wonderful animals that have come through the rescue, I think it would make a very interesting book. I am planning to speak to Tony's book agent very soon with some ideas and see what they think...
Donkey Otie ate his feed on the grass today, as usual. Now he waits at the gate to the Cherry Pie each morning for his "special time"...
We moved Kelso, Sundance and Maverick into Mesquite Manor. All three need to have the extra feed to keep their weight up but they cannot handle any alfalfa. We will see how this grouping works out...

I had a lap full of dogs. It's hard to just sit down and relax around the rescue!

Aww, I was so glad to be there! There are so many critters there, it's hard to remember all their names. But Donkey Otie will forever stand out. He's a great old guy and I'm so happy for him and Keller and all the rest that they get to live out their days at Shiloh. You all do phenomenal work there. God Bless
YAY DARIA!!
Thanks again for coming out, Mikey, it was so nice to finally meet you in person.
