Weds and our Newest Arrival

There was actually a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning, but once the sun came out it warmed up a bit.

Here are some pics of a new arrival, Trigger. He arrived from Michigan where the cold was just too much for him. His caring owners shipped him out to Shiloh. He's so cute! We are hoping that once he settles in, he can become a Wanderer with Charlie...

Sally, Eric, and Elisa check him out...

Here he is in one of his blankets...

We actually have him in the barn where he has a stall and an outdoor run, but once the sun came out, he would not go back inside and preferred to stand in the sun...

So, we eventually moved his food outside where he wanted to be. What a cute little guy!

We are in the process of accepting some horses into Shiloh from another horse rescue which is located in Pahrump, Dreamchasers Horse Rescue. It looks like they got in over their head and we are just trying to help the horses out. Tommorow Shiloh will pick up Charlie Brown, Cloud, Blaze, Doc, Dominic, Casper, Tenacity, and Brandy. We will post their stories once they arrive. Thank you to Diane who is releasing the horses to us and we all look forward to welcoming them at Shiloh.

Thank you Jill for taking the Dreamchaser horses. And kudos to the people at Dreamchaser for being willing to accept an offer of help. Can't wait to see the pictures when they arrive!
