A Wet and Snowy Friday...

It rained and then snowed on the drive to Shiloh early this morning. It was beautiful- but wet and cold!
We almost missed making it through the pass, but we got there just in time. Other people who were on their way out to the ranch turned back for home.
Oh yes, the glamorous life of a horse person... This is me, Jill, under all those warm clothes.

And Sally...

Snow in some of the arenas.
The round pen and barn...

Jill's pasture.

The Big Pasture- muddy and wet. But, all the horses have extra hay to eat, plenty of shelter and everyone is looking good.

Easy Street- our newest feeding pasture. That's Ketchum, nice and warm, in his new donated red blanket.

Wanderer Concho, also in Christmas red.

Only at Shiloh. I have no idea why Margarita has a roll of toilet paper, but there it is. She was trying to unroll the whole thing- but I caught it in time...

Ranch dog, Spur, knows that some days it's just better to stay inside in bed where it is nice and toasty...

I think Margarita and Taco were trying to decorate the trees for Christmas. They are going "green" and using our living mesquite trees, and Toilet paper is bio-degradable! You should have let them finish!

Seriously?
That is so funny...Those burros know how you do not like to have the hoses undone, so I guess the next best thing is tiolet paper...and right in front of you!!!

You guys are troopers, what would those horses do without you.

Thanks for all you do. e
