A Muddy Monday...

Daisy UPDATE: Daisy's teeth were worked on this afternoon in the clinic. They were able to loosen one of the teeth that is affecting her sinus. They will give her a day of rest tomorrow and then try again on Weds. Her teeth are just too large for her head and mouth, in fact some of them are the same size as a normal horse's teeth! It's very difficult for the vets to get in their with their instruments and they don't want to stress her, so they are taking it slowly.

Out at Shiloh,it was a clear day- but everything is muddy and wet...

Out in Easy Street, Ketchum took a nap. Many horses were lying down today and catching some sun.

We moved the four new Thoroughbreds out into the Okay Corral pasture. All four need some down time after their racing days. They weren't quite sure what to do at first and stuck close together...
But then Resolute, Intrepid and Manhattan grouped up and went off exploring. They got a little bit excited about their new surroundings to begin with and stretched their legs but eventually they calmed down. We are jokingly referring to them as a gang- Los Malos. Which means, "The Bad Ones"...

Having some fun in their new space!

Over by the Pig Palace, BLT takes a drink...

In Assisted Living, Ciento and Sweetie snoozed...

And Jimmy Dean dozed in Mendoza's stall.

Spur rolled in the mud...

And then headed out on a trail ride with Eric and Jeremy.

All in all, a good day.
