FRED MERTZ UPDATE: Fred's belly tap was inconclusive and Dr. Ballard is still leaning toward a possible tumor. But, Fred is doing okay (he is not in pain) and the vet feels that he still has quality time remaining and that he can continue to enjoy his wandering life at Shiloh while being watched closely. I have decided that he will remain at the clinic until we get back home just in case.

It has been hot and muggy out at the ranch, everyone is just taking it easy.

Dr. Schur's daughter leading Sundance to the vet testing horse trailer. Dr. Schur's husband hauls the vet horses into town. The girls always come along to help out their dad and they know many of the horses' names at Shiloh, it's really cute!

Sharil and Cochise headed out on trail with Eric and Sawyer. Looks like they are having a great time!
