A Busy Saturday At Shiloh

A couple of things:

Sabine is back from her Honeymoon (welcome back!) and is starting up her Basic Horsemanship Classes again. Please click on the link to find out more and to sign up. These classes are perfect for new volunteers and those who are a bit rusty around horses.

We have decided to Go Green and try to use solar power for our new office. I had read somewhere that there are grants available to go green, does anyone know anything about that? If so, please email me at shilohhorse@aol.com. Thank you!

Now, back to the ranch, there was a cool wind blowing on Saturday...

A meeting of the goats. From left to right, Muffet, Exceller, Ferdinand, and John Henry in the back.

Stretch was kicking up his heels in Assisted Living, the cool breeze made many of the horses feel good.

Stretch and Clover...

Saturday was also D-Day. Thank you to the Larry Bowles for our new bigger flag that we can fly on Holidays. As always, Shiloh supports our troops now and our troops who fought throughout history. What those men did on D-Day is truly incredible and they really are Our Greatest Generation.
Wanderers Eagle and Scrappy pause in their wanderings in front of the barn...

We had a group of students out from UNLV to do some community work. Here they try to get a water tub out of our junk pile...
Afterwards, they groomed and spoiled the Gummies. Mendoza enjoyed his attentions...

Capone wandering in Little Vacation Village. He has become close friends with Galaxy, his herdmate.

Deonna and Sunday under City Center.

Also under City center, Sharil tries to groom Tequila, which is not easy!

The Hickey Family presented us with this beautiful and moving glass plaque for Chief. It is see through glass, so I put it on a dark surface so that all of you could read the inscription. We will be hanging this in our new office. Thank you Hickeys!

Elisa worked with Journey...

Trigger always stands in the feed trough while eating...

Sabine spent some time with Dude...

Some of Sabine's Horsemanship Class at work. Here Susie Q gets groomed...
Elisa and Rocky Road...

Big Vacation Village...

Sweetie in the new Rat Pack Pasture.

Una and Belmont in Big Vacation Village.

Waco, with Bucky behind him, and Image in Big Vacation Village.

Little Rugrat wanders away after she was groomed.
