Well, it's officially freezing out at the rescue, it's getting down into the 30's at night. We spent most of Tuesday getting out blankets and putting them on. All of our old guys and horses with special needs are now wearing them. We have also set up a heater in the office with a dog door, so the ranch dogs all sleep in there on the dog couches where it's toasty warm.

Pepperoni in her blanket...But, the best idea we had was to try to get the pigs, Sonny and Cher to wear a blanket. They have many straw filled pig houses that they can go in, but we are always worried they are too cold. So we are trying to figure out how to make them a custom made blanket. Yes, we know we are weird, but we hate to have to worry about any of the animals. As usual, Pig Wrangler Sally, is on the case...

OMGosh! Haha~ Can't wait to see the pigs in blankets! No, you are not weird. I think it is GREAT that you look out for ALL of the animals welfare. Its freakin' COLD out there!
So sorry I am going to miss Sitkas leg fitting. But we will be working hard for her back home.
