What a Few Last Days! Phew!

These last few days have been crazy! Sally and I want to thank everyone who has pitched in this week to get everything done.

I will just jump in with photos and show you all what we have been up to...

THURSDAY:

Aztec was cleaned up by his friend, Eric. Aztec was making his debut at the "I Read to Animals" event at the library on Thursday. More about that event to come!

Volunteer Gary helped to clean Daisy up for the Library...

Maverick, and his pal Kelso, in Mesquite Manor...

BB romped in the turn out...
What a ham! Leo has been riding his mom, Nevada. She is doing great and I will be posting a video about her very soon.

We had a Film Student, Cris, out to the rescue to do some filming. That's Cris holding up Lovely's sinus flush bag. If you come to Shiloh- we put you to work! He was a good sport and enjoyed the ranch.

Tioga returned from the clinic where he had some skin cancer removed from his shoulder. You can see his bandage.

We had a new arrival! This is Mojo a 3 year old Miniature gelding. He is the Cryptorchid we paid to have gelded in the clinic. He is super cute and already a favorite!

FRIDAY:

Good news as Pokie Dot was adopted today by Toni and Shannon of Pahrump! A great match for this cute little pony and a horse loving family!

We had to clean and redress Tioga's wound. Dr. Schur removed a huge amount of skin and muscle and stitched it back together. Hopefully she was able to remove all of the cancerous lesion but only time will tell...

Out in the Mega Pasture, Sanctuary Horse, Slidell, ate his hay...

The horses have broken up into smaller herds in the Mega Pasture. This group always hangs out in this spot. This is, from left to right, Stormy, Sunset, Spider, Slidell and Amiga.

This is Sanctuary Horse, Thistle.

Over on the Cherry Pie grass, Derby rolled in Alpaca poo...

Mercali and Elisa walk through the Mare Motel on their way to work. Mercali is now beginning his under saddle work and will be evaluated for adoption...

More of the Mega Pasture.

Sanctuary Horse, Belmont. He is doing great!

Sparrow and Storm Cloud...

Stormy and Sunset...

Latte is officially back at Shiloh and is up for adoption to a new home. Sadly, her adoptive home recently returned her to our custody due to financial problems. She was boarded at Shiloh. She is sound and healthy and will really make someone a wonderful riding horse! See Latte's webpage here.

Elisa worked with Truce. I am currently working on Truce's adoption video. He is such a sweet guy and has lots of love to give to a new home.

Over in the Bungalows, Vortex is getting bigger...

So is Pippi Longstockings. These two mares should foal within the next two months. With new arrival, Breeze, we now have three pregnant mares in the rescue waiting to foal...

Tanya groomed Vortex, who enjoyed the attention...
