A Stormy Day in Shiloh Town...

A cold and rainy day today...

The skies above Shiloh...

Mendoza staying out of the rain under his shelter...

Baja, Scrappy and Pokie Dot (who is a temporary Wanderer) escaped the cold rain under City Center...
Some little friends in my feed bin. Where are Shiloh's feral barn cats when you need them? Even the barn cats wait for their cat food to be brought to them!

Tanya groomed Fancy in the Bungalow area...

The Brat Pack in the Bungalows.

Sally worked on Melvyn's hair, which he really enjoyed...

It seems that his hair is all falling out- but good news- little fuzz is actually growing back in it's place! Maybe he was just letting go of all of his old dead and unhealthy hair and growing a new healthy coat. He is taking his rescue seriously, he is shedding all of his old life and embracing his new one!

MEANWHILE, OVER IN THE ISOLATION AREA:

The Fallon feedlot horses arrived late last night. This is the 3 year old gelding. He is very sweet and very cute!

The 10 year old TB gelding. Very friendly and interested in his surroundings.

He has a very nice classic Thoroughbred head.

The dark brown Thoroughbred mare...

This is the pregnant Thoroughbred mare who is supposed to be due in June. She is very thin for her pregnancy (she actually looks fatter in this photo than in real life. She was moving around so much that I couldn't get a good photo of her.) Because of her condition, we moved her into the Medical unit where she has better wind protection and where we can monitor her more closely.

Somehow I forgot to take photos of the third Thoroughbred mare and the gray Arabian mare. Both are friendly. I will get photos of them ASAP.
