L.O.P.E and the AC Auction

Shiloh is proud to co-sponsor L.O.P.E. -a Horse Health Event for the Southern NV community.

In an effort to help out horse owners in this difficult economy, Shiloh is working with the Clark County Animal Control, the NV Department of Agriculture, Desert Pines Equine Clinic, the County Commissioner's Office, and the NV Horse Council to put on this low cost vaccination, Brand Inspection, and free micro chipping clinic at Horseman's Park on May 3rd. To find out how you and your horse can participate, click here.

Also, those of you who might be looking for a new horse, or have room to add another horse to your family or herd, the Nye County Animal Control (one of our all time favorites!) will be auctioning off five horses on Saturday, April 18th at the Pahrump Animal Shelter. Jill and Sally will be out of town, so we cannot attend- but there are horses who need some help there. I have been told that there is a 4 year old black pony gelding, a 3 year old mare, a 25 year old Appendix gelding who is well broke but arthritic, a 3 year old Paint Stud (of course), and a 6 year old unbroke (of course) Quarter Horse mare. If possible, please consider helping out one of these horses!
