Monday- Back at Shiloh! 10/27/08

Well, we made it back to the ranch today. It was so great to see all of the animals again! We missed everyone! It was also wonderful to see some of our boarders and volunteers today. The ranch looks great and all the horses were well cared for, thanks to everyone!

Great news as Harlow, the Haflinger mare, was adopted by Linda of Las Vegas. Harlow joins another Shiloh Horse, Puma, in her new home. Harlow has a bright future ahead, Linda has great plans for her, including teaching her to drive. Harlow is a really nice mare and we are all so glad to see her move on to a new life...

More good news as Philadelphia has an adoption pending to Shiloh's neighbor, Sandy Valley Ranch. He will join two other Shiloh Horses, Laguna and Rabbit, in her new home. Both Laguna and Rabbit are ridden over to Shiloh from time to time, they look wonderful and are doing really well. We appreciate that SVR looks to take in rescue horses for their riding programs...

Tomorrow I will post more information on Tony's two book signings in Las Vegas this coming weekend. Sally and I will be at both and hope to see some of you there! That reminds me, we saw two Shiloh supporters, Stephanie and Dennis, in New York City at one of the book signings. They were regular volunteers at the rescue until they moved to New York. It was fun to see them again!

It's great to be back! Now, I'm off to get some sleep. See you all at Shiloh!

Welcome back, ladies! All the kids missed you, to be sure! Being the perpetual list maker, I've made my Christmas list already, and Shiloh's greatest benefactor's new book looks like it would be perfect for quite a few on my list! What is the limit per person at the Summerlin Costco? You know how I am- if I am going to carrot, we need 150lbs, if I'm going to buy books- well, something under 150lbs should do... Hope all are well- congratulations to Philadelphia and Harlow's new owners! What true gems you have adopted!!!
