Thursday

Another gorgeous day. Today was an easy day, we got everything done quickly and then hung out. It was nice...

NOTE: We are in the process of printing our Shiloh 2009 calendars. They will be available in the next few weeks and I will post about them when they are ready. They will be able to be bought off of the website and at the rescue.

Some wonderful news as both Blue Moon and Twinkle are being adopted by Nancy and Carol, who will be moving back to North Carolina. The two horses will be boarded at Shiloh until the Spring, when they will move with their new family to their NC home. Their new home will have beautiful green grass, ton's of pasture room, and best of all, a clear river runs through it! A perfect home for these young horses. Big thanks to Carol and Nancy for adopting rescued horses...

Inspirada has started her under saddle work, she has been ridden three times now. Although she is green as grass, she has a great attitude and laid back personality. She will come along quickly and will make someone a wonderful riding horse. I will be taking photos and videos in the next few days and she will go up for adoption.

Denali (also known as "Guinness Stout") , an adopted Shiloh Horse, is looking for another home. His adoptive family went through some changes and they are working to place their horses in new loving homes. I have listed him up on our website under "available for adoption", but he is for sale by owner. Denali is having some stifle issues and is only available to a very light riding home. He is super cute and friendly and will make an awesome companion horse. He is a 6 1/2 year old Belgian gelding- he is HUGE! GOOD HOME ONLY, please contact his owner, Jamie, with any questions (contact info is on his page). Check him out here!
