Empire, an off the track Thoroughbred gelding, jumped his first jump today! Jill's sister, Three Day Event Rider, Sarah VandenBerg was visiting from San Diego today and hopped on Empire. Empire is a very nice, athletic 5 year old gelding who has great potential. He is extremely quiet for a young horse facing his first jump. He even did a flying lead change at the end. Not bad, Empire!
He is currently looking for his new home.
