A Busy Saturday!

As usual, it was crazy out at Shiloh on Saturday! We had the Tack Class, a school club, Tony and a German photographer, horses being adopted and tried out, lots of visitors and lots of hard working volunteers...

Great news as Pal is very happily adopted to Merrilee of Las Vegas. Sadly, she had to recently euthanise one of her beloved horses, but that opened up a place for Pal in her heart and home. A great match for this sweet Arab gelding!

Newly arrived, Rocky Road also found his new home! Rocky was adopted by the Stanton Family, where he will join former Shiloh Horse, Dunny in his new home! Yay Rocky!

Poker watched the activity from Little Vacation Village...

Salsa followed Tony's grandson, Rafael around...

Sally, Patti, and Sandi worked on Spider in the new stock...
Capone, who is allowed to wander freely now during the day, wandered in and ate fellow barn member, Serenity's morning hay...

Then he went for a nice long walk with John...

Now that Sunday is weaned, Sitka can wander freely again as well! Here she is with her Magic Leg eating by the feed room...

A short video of Sitka wandering with her leg...

Shadow and Trashy eat their Equine Senior in Assisted Living- thanks Feed Fairies!

Also in Assisted Living, Celebrate, Freedom, and Olympia eat their Feed Fairy Feed!

Ketchum enjoys some shedding from a new Volunteer- that feels good!

In the Gummies, Sy eats his Feed Fairy food...

So does Gummie Pen member, Mendoza...

Jill and Spartacus lead the school Horse Club on a tour of the rescue...

Off to check out the Hospice area...

While Elisa uses Rocky Road to teach the Tack Class. Another great class!

Hoops, Sunday, and Crusoe enjoy some carrots from some visitors...

Then, Crusoe took a little nap back in the Bungalows... What a cute little guy!

Amiga and Lucero meet a small visitor...

Then Crusoe and Sunday get a carrot!

Laurie and Gladys go for a walk...

While Coby takes it easy...

Kelly passed out cupcakes that read "Fly NASDAQ". It's a tradition at Shiloh that if you fall off of your horse, you have to bake a cake. Kelly and NASDAQ parted ways last week, but they have since made up!

Pinta enjoyed a carrot...

And Tony signed Kody's cast. Kody and Domingo had a disagreement last week which left Kody with a broken arm. Domingo will be getting his "brain surgery" on Tuesday which should help to improve his attitude (he will be gelded)...

A beautiful sunset at the end of a great day!

So wonderful to see Sitka able to wander and enjoy life. That's true of all the horses at Shiloh. Thank you for sharing all that goes on there. A lot of work but terrific rewards - to know that you are able to give them such quality of life. My prayers for Chief and for all of you as well.
