Saturday and New Friends...

First off, I will be blogging about the Summit of the Horse in the next few days, but I just don't have the energy to do it today. It was a very draining experience but I want to share with everyone our impressions (we did post a lot about it on Facebook). It was not easy to sit through that Summit...

On to better things:

A cold but clear day today at Shiloh...

We had two new Arrivals, meet Tortilla and Taquito- two mini burros! They were donated by their very caring owners so that they could have a more stimulating life with other animals. They will be badly missed, but their previous owners will be able to come out and visit them whenever they like...

They seemed happy with their new surroundings and spent lots of time just looking around. In a few days we will let them out to wander freely...

Tamale came over to meet them and welcome them to Shiloh's Burro herd...
