Adopted Horse UPDATES and More

Some updates on this early Thursday morning...

Here is Intrepid in his foster home- he looks fantastic and is really filling out! Some of you might remember how this OTTB looked when he arrived from the Fallon feedlot. He looks like a different horse now.

He is a Beauty!

I received this cute email from Blue Moon and Twinkle's owners. Moonie and Twinkle were born a few years ago at Shiloh to mares who were rescued heavily pregnant off of the Fallon feedlot:

"Hello from North Carolina, The ponies have been here a year now and are doing great. They went away to horsie boot camp and are now broke to ride, Nancy rides every day. Its apple season here and Twinkle thinks the apple tree in the pasture is her personal Pez dispenser, She is taller and gets the good ones but leaves the sour ones for Moon. They are loved by our neighbors who sneak over and give them treats. Spoiled O YEA !!"

I received this from Carson's owner. Carson was rescued while just a wild young colt off of the Fallon feedlot:

"Every day, I love Carson. He is sweet and nuzzles me 100% more than our "tame" horses do. He is a treasure and I enjoy every day with him. Thank you again for giving me Carson."

And finally, thank you to Shiloh supporter and horse lover, Teak, who created these wonderful pieces of artwork of Chief and Iceman!

I love the frosty air coming off of Iceman!

Chief, romping in Greener Pastures...
