Saturday...

Sally, Tony and I are working hard to get our new houses put out at the ranch. We are hoping to be living at Shiloh by the end of the year and are getting very excited! Our lives will become so much easier! As it is now, we spend two hours each day in commuting to Shiloh from our homes in Vegas.

This is the spot where Tony and my house will be going. It's very private and secluded with beautiful mountain views...

Here is Sally helping to plot out her house's location. She has a spot with beautiful Mesquite trees...

Meanwhile, back on the Rescue side of the ranch:

Dave and Salsa messed around...

Then Salsa took a nice roll in the dust...

Over by the Medical Units, Trigger works on trying to open this gate which will give him access to Throtter's Equine Senior. Trigger will stand there for a long time just wiggling the chain until it comes undone. So, everything has to be secured with strong clips!

Gummie Laramie enjoys a nice slow grooming from a volunteer. He dozed as he was brushed...

Charlie tries to decide if he should go into our private tack room or not. I came along and he "decided" not to...

We had a new arrival- this is Flicker who was donated by her caring owners who had originally rescued her from a CA auction. She is broke to ride, very cute and friendly and will do best with at least an Intermediate rider. More info to come as we evaluate her. She is a 12 year old Quarab (Arabian/Quarter Horse). Welcome Flicker!

Nevada escaped out of her Hospice area corral and spent the day eluding capture and exploring with the Wanderers. All of the boys lined right up behind her and followed her wherever she went! (Following her is Latigo, Cortez, Charlie and Concho.)
