A Hot Weds...

It was hot at Shiloh today- summer is finally here. We are now wearing our warm weather high fashion of shorts and our work boots. I know, not a good look, but what's a ranch girl to do?

A video of Locksley and Twister enjoying the Kinder Care turn out. They are both doing great and growing like weeds!

Hammie Davis, Jr dug in a cool mud puddle...

We have now let our newest mule, Clementine, roam freely. Here she hangs out by Ochocinco's Medical Unit.

Over in Kinder Care, Twister showed off...

Later, pregnant Breeze wandered in the attached turn out...

Look how great Breeze is starting to look. She has really filled out, she still has a ways to go, but she is getting there!

We moved Hawkeye out into Okay Corral, here he is hanging out with Sally's Sage. They look like a matched set!

We moved the newest feedlot horses, Happiness, Orleans and Rubix out of Isolation and into the rescue side of the ranch. Here Orleans and Happy explore the turn out with Ochocinco.

It's hard to tell in this photo but little Daisy is standing in the hose spray- it's misting her face, she loved it!

Locksley takes a drink...

Twister, up close and personal!

Stitch is putting on more weight now that his stomach ulcers are clearing up.

We actually moved him out of Mesquite Manor and into Easy Street where he can enjoy some herd mates. We are going to give him a bit more time before we re-start his under saddle evaluation.

Cute little Rubix! This is one super cute Paso Fino pony!

I gave Orleans a bath, she is still very thin but looking and feeling better.

Happiness' bath is up next!

We also moved good buddies, Eagle and Echo Echo out of their barn stalls and into Mesquite Manor. These two special needs horses can now enjoy living together in their tree shaded, soft ground pen. They both seemed very happy with the move. We also moved Serenity and Sitka into the other neighboring Mesquite Manor pen, they are best friends and also seemed very happy to be out of the barn.

Eagle and Echo Echo even shared the same feed tub.

Manhattan is in the smaller Mesquite Manor pen as he heals from a leg injury...

My little dog, Maximo, enjoys a cool water puddle...
