A Beautiful Day...

It was just beautiful out at Shiloh today, all the animals were great and it was warm and peaceful...

Blessing is doing great and will return to Shiloh tomorrow morning. This morning as we went to hook up to the trailer, we noticed a flat tire. Huge Thanks to Dave who fixed all of our flats! Yay Dave!

More good news, The Humane Society of the United States has chosen Shiloh to participate in the Parelli Celebration in Reno this coming May! A Shiloh horse will be chosen to be used in the clinic with Pat and Linda Parelli! More info as we get closer...

Here are some pics from the day:

Image, Kelso, Marilyn, and America have some "breakie"...

Daisy and Jimmy Dean had a stand-off...

Charlie checked out all of the girls in the turn out. (Cedar, Inspirada, and Apache...)

We are trying a new system to cut down on some of the daily work. We are trying to feed the big hay bales, this will help save work during feeding. The horses will eat these bales down over a day or two. Yes, we actually do go through a big bale in each pasture in a day or two (we like to free feed)!

The same bale, two days later. It's gone and the horses are full!

Tommy having some fun. He will leave for his new home this next weekend...

Falcon and Soot stand still for their photo...

Jimmy Dean enjoys some of the produce from Trader Jo's. Thanks to everyone who offered to help with that, Tanya who lives right near TJ comes to Shiloh a few days a week is picking it up and bringing it out to the rescue. Thanks Tanya!

Do you think we could use Salsa at Parelli instead of a horse??? HaHa!
Sharil & I had a great idea to put him in with the mares for a while. maybe that will teach him some manners??????????????????????????
