Twister...
Part of this morning's Breakfast Club...

Special needs horse, Eagle, eating his morning Equine Senior. He is one who will be evaluated tomorrow by the vet. Eagle has been with us for about 5 years. He arrived at Shiloh with a badly deformed and crippled foot. That first day, it took him over an hour to walk across the barn yard and into his corral. Since then, he has enjoyed his life at Shiloh and spent many years in one of our special needs pastures with his friends. But, we cannot undo the damage that was already done before he came to us, all we could do was to make him more comfortable and give him the ability to enjoy a good horse life. Eagle is a personal favorite of mine and I have a heavy heart just thinking about the vet day...

Another special needs horse, Sunny. Sunny arrived just a few months ago from the feedlot with extremely sore feet from chronic laminitis. Since then, we have made her as comfortable as we can. She will also be evaluated tomorrow...

Bacon Bits enjoying the Cherry Pie's Lake Shiloh. Something leaked last night! But at Shiloh, we try to look at the bright side- the pigs and dogs really enjoyed this temporary lake on such a hot summer day!

Elisa also rode Slewus for the first time. Slewus is an OTTB who has spent the last year in our pasture just being a horse. Now, he is moving sound and is ready to begin his journey to find a new home and future. This is a really cool big gelding!
