A Hot Weds...

NOTICE: Shiloh will be closed to all Visitors and Volunteers from Thursday, May 6th until Thursday, May 13th. We will reopen on Friday, May 14th.

A hot day today!

First thing this morning, our Llama, Inca, was rushed into the vet clinic with a snake bite on her nose. Her head and nose were swelling up. She is being treated with anti-venom and is doing well, but is feeling sick. She will remain in the clinic for a few days as the vet told us that the two days after a snake bite are the worst. Poor Inca!

Some good vet news- Starsky is responding to treatment and has been taken off of IV fluids. He is beginning to pass manure...

Lobo and Banjo are now roommates in a Duplex...

Sanctuary Horse, Laramie dozed under one of Little Vacation Village's shelters.

Kelso, looking cute in his Duplex (that he shares with Maverick)...

Elisa has begun to work with Suggestion...

Then she worked with Latte again. Latte is so super quiet...

Even though he is now just over 4 months, BB still likes to nurse from his mom, Nevada...

Ranch dog, Spur found a comfortable place to nap...

Sweet pregnant Breeze waited patiently for her morning grain. She eats grain twice a day as we try to fatten her up for her upcoming birth. She has filled out alot but still has a long way to go...

Elisa and Truce...

The guys put up part of Tioga and Images' new Summer House- we are covering their entire Mare Motel pens to protect Tioga's skin cancer from the sun and to keep Cushing's horse, Image in the shade. We will eventually add shade cloth to block out the sun, they will be able to spend the summer nights in one of the turn outs...
