A Peaceful and Beautiful Tuesday

The weather was perfect today! Since our weather has officially turned mild, we decided to remove all the winter blankets today. It is supposed to stay in the upper 40s-low 50s at night and climb to the 70's during the day. Everyone kept up their weight through the winter and the winter hair is flying all over as furry coats are shed...

Pregnant Vortex has really filled out since her rescue. She is due in the next 2-3 months.

Assisted Living member, Ciento, looking cute...

OTTB New York in Okay Corral. We will begin working with him in a month or so. He is a nice big gelding...

OTTB Manhattan, he will also begin his evaluation in the next few months.

Pregnant Curly mare, Pippi Longstockings. She is shedding lots of curly hair and looking very pregnant. She is due in April/May.

Over in Little Vacation Village, Capone ate his senior feed. He stayed nice and fat over the cold months.

So did old Sy. He is looking great for his 39 years!

Sally used the shedding blade on Peso and Providence in the Duplex...

Volunteer Cheri worked on shedding out the Little Vacation Village horses...
And some great news as Cheri quickly adopted New Arrival, Scout. We had Scout in mind for Cheri and her husband since we were contacted by Scout's owner last week. Scout will remain at Shiloh until June when he will move to the Chicago area where he will join his new family. This is an excellent match for Scout and we could not be happier.

In the Mare Motel, Stitch looked cute!

The Gummie's Blankets hung up on the fence to air out...

Gummie Mendoza is staying nice and plump on his Feed Fairy feed...

Melvyn wandered in the warm sun...

A perfect day!
