Thursday at Shiloh...

A busy day as we try to get ready for the Holiday weekend. Shiloh WILL be open to volunteers and visitors all weekend from 8am until 1pm.

We moved some horses around today, made a bigger Gummie pen and changed Little vacation Village a bit. We try to keep like horses together to help us streamline the work caring for so many horses...

The guys and Ed helped us move horses and they dragged (I think it's dragged, not drug) the pastures...

Our new improved and larger Gummie pen, looking out toward easy Street...

Old Gummie members, Laramie and Canyon under one of the shelters...

The rest of the Gummies, that's little Jack in the middle...

We incorporated the Corner Pen into the new Gummies so Maverick and Falcon were moved to what was Super Gummies...

Little Vacation Village...

Back in the Gummies, the goats were happy with the change...

So was Melvyn!

Another view of the larger area...

Seemore was moved into Little Vacation Village...

So was Poker. Both horses are at a great weight and graduated...

We are trying to see if little Levi wants to become an official Wanderer. We let him loose and he headed off to explore...

On her way back to her Barn stall after some fun in the turn out, little Florecita jumped up the brick ledge by the Barn. She is doing so wonderfully!

Donkey Otie- the best donkey west of the Pecos...

Jack is looking great...

Clouds over Shiloh...

The dogs hung out in the shade of the Barn aisle...

One of four white doves that live wild at Shiloh...

Keller is looking good...

Osbaldo our Farrier trimmed horses out in the pasture...

Breakfast in Big Pasture...

Trace in Big Pasture. He has a small wound on his shoulder, probably from wandering back in the Mesquites. Since it is minor, I just treated him out in the pasture instead of bringing him into the Medical Area. The white stuff is Swat, an ointment to keep flies off of sores...

Belmont and Meadow, Big Pasture...

Blahnik, Okay Corral...
