A Very Long and Busy Thursday...

A long day...

Sheriff is joining the Breakfast Club now...

Okay Corral, early in the morning...

Standoff between Sukie and Aztec...

Inca at the Breakfast Club...

Over in Assisted Living, Wampum was trimmed...

Thank you to Dave and the guys who fixed the end of the Big Pasture fencing. It looks much better now...
This also helps with the area where are houses are going. The pasture got a bit smaller but is neater now...
Sunset and her pal, Spider, in the Big Pasture. Lots of horses were lying down to soak up the warm sun...
Storm Cloud and Sparrow in the Big Pasture...

More Big Pasture...

Breezer stole a bag of Doritos...

We had the vet out to check on the horses in our Isolation area. A few months ago we had an outbreak of Strangles. We think it came in with either the Icey ponies or the last Feedlot group. All horses are isolated for 30 days when they arrive, but we think one of them might be a silent carrier. So we had to have all of the horses who we suspected or who came down with Strangles, swabbed and tested. Hopefully, we can find who is carrying it without showing symptoms. We should know by next week and then that horse can be treated.

Dr Schur swabbing one of the Iceys...

It was getting dark by the time we left and the sunset was beautiful over the mountains. This is the view from our house area...

Fiesta, blending into the Mesquites...
