First off- super exciting news as little Cairo was adopted today to a great horse loving home! Ochocinco (who will be fostered by Cairo's family until he is weaned at 6 months of age) and Cairo will leave sometime soon for their new home. This is great, even though we will all be very sad to see the little guy leave- but a rescue is not a place for a baby to grow up. He deserves more attention and a owner of his own who will give him all of the love he deserves...
I moved Tommy With an Eye into Little Vacation Village so he could be with other like horses. It caused a great stir and all the horses had to come over to check him out personally. Left to right: Little Dude, Kelso, Rubix, Tommy With an Eye and Whiskey...
Inca waiting for the Breakfast Club to begin... Another Shiloh flood- what's new? Our horses and burros have evolved and become tool users- they have learned how to turn on water faucets, etc. Too bad they haven't evolved enough to repair them...
A meeting of minds in the Barn aisle. Barn pals, Serenity, Sunny and Gomez wandered freely...
In the Gummies, Melvyn and Ferdinand the goat got down to eating Feed Fairy food...
While Daisy terrorized the pigs in the Pig Palace. She has decided to live with the pigs for a few days, much to their chagrin.
Dude getting some grooming over by Boarder Row...

Thank you for the new photo of Slewus. He's a beauty! But then ... they all are, arent' they?! Your efforts to save all these special animals are inspiring!
