The last few days at Shiloh

For those of who are not on Shiloh's Facebook page, here is what we have been up to the last few days...

Tecate and Starsky were both adopted to wonderful new homes this past week. Tecate is at his new home now and Starsky is being boarded at Shiloh. We are very happy for both of these horses.

Our Saturday rummage sale at Sandy Valley Ranch brought in over $1400.00 for the Shiloh horses. Huge thank you to everyone for their support!

Don't forget that our new children's book, "Florecita, Proud to be a Rescue Horse" is now available through Amazon.com and will soon be up in our Shiloh online shop (hopefully by tonight). Copies can also be purchased directly at Shiloh, the cost is $10.00 per book. This is a great book, uplifting and compassionate, perfect for teaching children about the true meaning of rescue. All copies purchased at Shiloh are signed by Jill and Robin (the authors) and Florecita, the main character. :0)

Enjoy the following photos!

Our newest pig Honey Boo Boo has really settled in, she can now be found exploring all over the ranch. It is not unusual to be standing in the arena and spot her wandering toward the back Mesquite Trees. Here she is in the Medical Area looking for scraps from Graffiti...

Melvyn. All of our old horses are now wearing blankets, it is down into the 30's at night...

Wandering one eyed pony, Pokie Dot, soaking up some of the warm sun after a cold night...

Wanderers Charlie, Latigo and Mamacita hanging out by the Medical Units...

Wandering pony Trigger, looking very fuzzy!

Arturo and Ochocinco...

Hawkeye and new volunteer, Lynn, in their Basic Horsemanship Class this morning...

And it is official- I can now ride again! After one year out of the saddle after my back surgery, I was back up on Jedermann!

AJ on Moses and Elaine on Willie explored the ranch. Looking good Ladies!
