A Winter's Day...

It was very foggy this morning and it had rained quite hard last night in Sandy Valley...

Okay Corral in the mist...

Big Pasture...

Big Pasture...

We have pulled Orleans, an older Thoroughbred mare, out of our pasture. She is suffering from Melanoma growths in her throat area and we suspect that it is internal as well as she is beginning to lose weight. We are watching her closely now...

One of our winterized Pig Boxes with the donated straw. (Someone tore open a bale last night and threw it everywhere.) I could see a pig's bed in there so I know one of them is using it to stay comfy at night. Jimmy Dean has a similarly bedded box in the Barn Stall which he loves!

After last night's rain, it was a bad hair day for Aztec...

And not just on his head! With all of the shelters he has access to, why does he feel the need to spend the night in the rain?

A cute shot of Zoolander and Apache in Okay Corral...

Over in the Gummie Saloon, Laramie showed of a new donated blanket while he shared his Feed Fairy food with Scrappy...
Melvyn also sported a newly donated blanket- Thank you, Libby!

A shot of the Gummie Saloon with pony Wanderers, Trigger and Pokie Dot, on the far side...

A wet Big Pasture...

A muddy Pequito, Big Pasture...

A muddy Snafu, Big Pasture...

Ice, Big Pasture...

A very muddy Sleetwood Mac, Big Pasture...

Sparrow, Big Pasture...

Hilo, Big Pasture...

Big Pasture under winter clouds...

Thistle, Big Pasture...

Over in the MASH Unit, "twinsies" Lark and Roy in their newly donated blankets...
