A Busy Weekend and the Girl Scouts...

A very busy and beautiful weekend at the rescue. We had lots of volunteers and visitors out, including a troop of Girl Scouts working toward their Horsemanship Badge.

The Girls with Wanderer Moose the Mule...

Then it was off to work, here they use teamwork to dump the Gummie Saloon's water...

One of their tasks was to create a safety poster about horses. They presented me with this wonderful poster to hang in our office. Thanks Girls!

They also learned to halter and lead a horse- the Gummies were all to happy to oblige. Here goes Heavenly...

And Graffiti...

Whiskey...

They did a great job and the Gummies enjoyed the extra attention.

Meanwhile:

CityCenter, as always the hub of activity...

Jedermann in his pasture next to the Big Pasture...

Florecita is getting so big!

Tortilla, Taquito and Baja followed a volunteer around to "help" her hand out carrots...

A meeting by the arena...

Lots of Boarders were out enjoying the beautiful weather with their adopted horses...

Stealing hay from Rabbit...

Felipe worked with Ochocinco...

While wandering pony, Trigger, looked on...

And Aztec and Inca hung out in the Barn aisle...
