A Very Hot Monday!

Very hot with just a tiny breeze, it must have been at least 105 out at Shiloh. It really is too hot to do much but the basic things that need to get done each day...

Taquito, Tortilla and Huckleberry in the slimmed down version of the Breakfast Club...

Sally cleaned and tended to Willie Nelson's wound and then decided to turn him back out into his pasture. As she was walking him back to the pasture he decided to surprise Sally and roll in the deep sand!

Jedermann and I are getting ready for our next show. We will be competing the second week of August in Palo Alto, CA at Woodside. I used to compete there when I was younger but haven't been there in probably 20 years. My sister, Sarah, will be riding Pacific in the Preliminary Division- OTTB Pacific was rescued from slaughter by Shiloh years ago. It's going to be a great show!

Thoroughbred mare, Breeze, returned to us from her adoptive home. She was very well cared for and loved but her owner recently married (congratulations!) and will be moving out of state. Breeze is highly adoptable so I know we will find her another great home. Breeze is 15 years old, sound and healthy and goes English. I will be working on an under saddle video of her very soon...

Sally came up with a new idea for a fly mask to help with Habronema- we call it a Hula Flymask!

Hawkeye gets into the tropical spirit! The strings keep flies of his Habronema sore on his lip. Necessity truly is the mother of invention- especially if you run a rescue!

Sausage Patti enjoyed a dip in the pig pool...

While Mojo dozed under the mists of CityCenter and supervised Jedermann's bath...
