Just Some Photos...

As some of you have heard, Tony has been in the hospital. He is doing well, resting and responding to his treatment but we will be here a while longer.

It has been just boiling out at the rescue, temps have gotten up to 114 degrees.

Some sad news as Sanctuary Horse Priceless was euthanised in the vet clinic on Saturday. He was in his 30's and his age had caught up with him. Priceless spent his last years in Little Vacation Village with his best friend, Laramie. He was healthy and content and from time to time enjoyed a nice slow trail ride...

Here are some photos from Shiloh from this past week:

Trying to beat the heat, Aztec dozed under the misters on City Center...

While Lindsey Loham cooled off in a muddy pig hole...

Peace Pipe is looking great, here he enjoys a little fun in a turn out...

So did Cricket and her filly, Butterfly...

Butterfly kicked up her heels...

And stretched her long legs.

Beau also cruised in turn out...
While Gus watched Hutch roll after his bath...

A beautiful morning over Shiloh.

ADOPTED HORSE UPDATE: The Molly Mule who was rescued off of the Fallon Feedlot just a few months ago and quickly adopted, is doing wonderfully in her adoptive home. Here she is out with her owner up in the mountains outside of Vegas. She is now being called Jezebel...

She has really filled out, looks great and has excellent trail manners.

Another shot of Peace Pipe, you can see how his back and hind end have filled out. He does have that small hernia, which we will have fixed ASAP...

Part of the Breakfast Club...

Aztec patiently waiting for a feed bin to be refilled...

Feeding at Shiloh is a precarious job!

Aztec napping again, this time in some cool dirt...

Hope Tony gets better soon! I hear ya on the hot temps. It's miserable here, but the misters are in full effect!
