Starting Out the New Year Right!

A wonderfully busy weekend with tons of visitors, volunteers and activity. Big thanks to everyone who helped us out on Saturday as we fixed our pasture fencing. The fixed up fence lines look so much better and are so much sturdier!
It was a huge job, but with everyone's help it all got done. We have figured out that if we zig-zag our panels that they are much stronger for the big runs of fencing. It only took us eight years to figure that out but better late than never!
When everyone helps out it makes hard work fun!
The guys pulled out the t-posts with Ed's truck...
The finished fencing- looks great!
The Wanderers stopped to inspect the volunteer's handy work...

Meanwhile...
Jedermann played with Wanderer Latigo...
They had a great time!
I am so happy that Jeder can have this free time (I let him wander freely for a few hours a day) before he starts back to work. It is so good for his mind to just be able to be a horse...
Over in the Cherry Pie Lyfting, Florecita and Levi lined up for a treat from a new volunteer...
John "enjoys' his lunch. Um, there is just something so wrong with this picture!
Wandering Pokie Dot by the MASH Unit...
I caught Mojo being over dramatic over by the Blind Girls. I guess he wasn't getting enough attention and was considering ending it all...
But, he pulled out of it and was later spotted eating all of the pig food over in the Pig Palace...

A quiet moment between Sandi and Hawkeye...
Hawkeye, looking great in the Duplex...
Frost and Donna enjoyed the beautiful weather together...
Cooper and Deanna took a riding lesson...
Tony Jet Streams over Big Pasture...
Sabine worked with the babies, here she is with Locksley...
Charlie- we all try to just ignore his new habit of "scratching" on the post. We just look away, quickly...
Florecita stakes out her feed pan for the morning's Breakfast Club...
While Aztec masters eating and napping at the same time...
And Osito waits for a mouse to show itself in my feed room...
Locksley...
