Okay, just in case there is still someone out there who is under the misconception that running a horse rescue (or working with animals) is in any way glamorous, note this stain on my shorts. It is dog barf- but not just any dog barf, this is barf from a dog who had just disgustingly gorged on fresh horse manure and then threw up on my golf cart seat...
Now onto the peaceful part of the day:
Orlando, Assisted Living... Champ and his new pal, Falcon, Assisted Living...
Blind guy, White Cloud, is starting to show his age- but then again, aren't we all? He is happy and content and living a good horse life and that is what is really important...
A view of Assisted Living...
Freedom, Assisted Living...
Bucky, Assisted Living...
Sully, Assisted Living...
Marilyn, Assisted Living...
A view of Big Pasture...
Old Heavenly, The Gummie Saloon...
Speaking of Gummies- here is a molar I found in Gummie Saloon this morning. This is the second tooth found in the past few days. I have always said that the Gummies don't have a full set of teeth between them- here is the proof!

I just love looking at all the pictures of the residents! The names you give them are just precious, and so is the "assisted living" and the "Gummy Saloon"! I know that a THANK YOU does not help a lot for all the hard work that you do! Everyone is so great! A VERY BIG THANK YOU!
GROSS!! :P

Trucker looks AMAZING!!
Dogs eat horse poo?? Really?!?! And that's Aztec with an Afro, dear, NOT "looking weird"!!! He'll spit in your face if he hears you say that, won't he?!?!
Trucker does look great, thanks for the photo I was wondering how he was getting along.
Trucker is growing up to be a really handsome guy! How are his feet doing?
Jill, it never fails...the day I look my absolute WORST after working the horses, I have to stop by the grocery store! No dog barf, but plenty of horse slobber!!!
