Photos From the Past Few Days...

It has been a very hectic last few days, sorry I haven't blogged...

We did have a new arrival, meet Dynamite. He is a 4 year old mini gelding. He was just recently gelded, the day before he arrived at Shiloh, so he is still very studdy. But, once his hormones settle down, he will make someone a cute little Mini! He is available for adoption to a new home...

Dynamite has great fun in the turn out- his name fits him perfectly!

He is a cute little guy, sound and healthy.

A very animated little guy!

So, we moved the location of the Breakfast Club from the Cherry Pie grass to the turnout between the Hospice and the Mare Motel. The Breakfast Club regulars are NOT happy with the change. Here is Sally trying to lure Aztec and Inca to the new location...
But, once everyone reluctantly arrived, the Breakfast Club was back in full swing!
Trucker is doing well, filling out and growing up...

His new improved Magic Shoe is wonderful! Look at that foot!

We moved old Sy from the Gummies into a Barn Stall- he has a big swelling (abscess) on the side of his face. We are not sure if it is from a tooth as he doesn't really have any molars left back there. So we are hot packing it and by tomorrow I think it will open which will relieve him. Once it opens hopefully we can see what was causing it, if it is a tooth he will need to head into the clinic to have it checked. After Sally worked on him a while, he was seen happily eating his mushy food...

Now that Elisa is no longer here with us (sadly for all of us, she recently moved to Texas) Sabine and I are now working with the adoptable horses. Here is Intrepid being lunged. This is a very nice gelding and I hope to have some under saddle video of him within a week or so...
