A Very Busy Saturday...

Lots of activity today- lots of volunteers and visitors.

Great news as three more horses found their new homes today! Baldwin, Slewus and Breeze were all adopted to great homes. All three have futures ahead full of love and where they will get all of the attention they deserve...

Okay, this is cute. Mojo is trying to get into Lindsey Loham's house so he can eat her food but Lindsey kept chasing him out. Mojo will go right inside there if can. It's so funny to see the animals interacting like this...

A meeting of Asses under City Center. :o) This is left to right: Margarita, Tamale and Donkey Otie...

Vic's two horses had fun in the round pen. Everyone was feeling good with the beautiful weather this morning...

Here is Baldwin and his new owner, Nancy. A great match! Big thanks to Elisa who helped get all of these horses adopted...

Ed and Chocolate Moose. Ed is over 6 feet tall but even he is dwarfed by Moose!

Robin, Daria and Kerkorian had some fun together...

Our water lines for our homes are being laid, they go right through the pasture from our well. Of course, the Big Pasture horses just had to come over and check out the progress...

Get out of there! The guys have to dig and lay a few feet of pipe at a time and then cover it back up so the pasture horses don't walk into the trench. I know the horses think they are helping but they really aren't!

Vic and Derby share a moment...
Part of the Shiloh Dog Pack...

Lindsey Loham, tired of trying to keep Mojo out of her house, took a nice nap on City Center...

Sabine worked with Moses...

Ed and New York and Kody and Rookie...

Tortilla and Taquito in the Breakfast Club...

Dave and Numerous and Kody and Rookie out in the big open area...

This is Presidio, an OTTB who returned to Shiloh a few days ago from his adoptive home. We will be re-evaluating him for re-adoption. More info to come on him, but for now he is just settling in and getting used to being back at Shiloh...

Intrepid enjoyed the turn out. He is moving totally sound and will begin his under saddle work this coming week. This is a very cool young OTTB gelding.

Intrepid loves to get out and play!

Intrepid and Presidio are good friends already and spent the morning playing together in the turn out...
Elisa on Cricket. Cricket, a small Morab (Morgan/ Arabian cross) is doing very well and is beginning her under saddle evaluation...

Thank you to Kody who cleaned up after today's Breakfast Club!
Ketchum in Easy Street. He is doing great...

Dash in Okay Corral. Unfortunately, Dash is still lame and therefore not adoptable.

Some new volunteers got to know little Trucker. Trucker actually flicked his head trotted away from me when I went in to catch him- a good sign as his personality is emerging! Keep it up Trucker!
Then they moved on to Sunny...

This morning's Breakfast Club all lined up waiting to get started. This is what greets us every morning!
Little Cairo and Ochocinco. Cairo is growing up!

A nice shot of Sunny's sweet face. Sadly, we are thinking we may have to have Sunny euthanised on our upcoming vet day as her crippled foot is now affecting her quality of life. We will have the vet evaluate her again before we make the difficult decision...

Her crippled foot is fusing like this. Poor Sunny, she is a gentle soul....

A peaceful Big Pasture...

The foot is terrible. Poor thing.

Beautiful...beautiful animals, beautiful scenery, beautiful people doing beautiful things! So sad for Sunny; that foot looks crazy awkward and painful. But you can tell she feels safe where she is. And Ochocinco looks so, so good!

Thanks for the regular updates and photos.

Thank you for the wonderful photo update Jill. I know how busy you are and what kind of time that takes. I just want you to know how much it is appreciated. Wish I could get over there to help out. Give Sunny a hug for me.
