We had to leave early today to get Sitka and Sunday to their vet appointment. All the other horses were great, with some of our wonderful volunteers caring for everyone and doing the daily chores.
Elisa did hop on Noche, the Percheron mare, to let me take some pictures. She is SOOOO cute, but has some spunk under saddle. Nothing major, she just is a little bit rusty. She really will make someone a wonderful riding horse.

Little Sunday gets ready...
First he is laid down...
His hooves are trimmed...
Dr. Schur tries the shoe on for size.
She uses something like a hair dryer to heat up the plastic.
Letting the glue dry...
Magic Shoes!
Relaxing with mom, eating some dinner... He'll be back home at Shiloh tomorrow morning.

Aw, look at the little magic shoes! Those legs will be stronger in no time (a friend of a friend's foal had similar looking issues, got the magic shoes and those little pasterns strengthened up in no time!)
Cool glue on shoes! We do those every once in a while, with great success.
Noche looks GORGEOUS.
DO NOT let me load that horse on the trailer when I come thru. I'm going to have to hold myself back, cause that horse is my kind of horse!!
