Vet Clinic Update: Hawkeye was taken into the vet clinic late last night as he was showing signs of colic. He is feeling better today and will hopefully be able to come home this weekend. While in the clinic we had his eye examined, he has what we thought was an ulcerated area, but which may in fact be a cancer on his cornea. Biopsies were taken and once the results are in, we can decide what is the best course of action to take.
Big thanks to the Orleans Casino here in Vegas. When the circus left town a few days ago, they left behind shavings and some hay. The Orleans graciously contacted the Nevada SPCA who gave them Shiloh's contact info. We happily accepted the left over stuff! So later on in the day, we headed to the Orleans with our two horse trailers and trucks to pick it up...

These are all shavings! Almost 200 bags! We were able to fit it all into one load...

Ed worked with both Starsky and New York. Ed and his wife, Sarah are looking to adopt both of these nice geldings when they are ready...
Angel, the Skin Horse, and her pal, Avalon in Okay Corral. Don't worry, Angel is not wearing a hot sheet, those are only UV screen sheets which protect her pink skin from the sun...

And Wampum.
Indio is looking good, just a little bit more weight and she can start her adoption evaluation...
We moved Nevada into Easy Street so she can have more room to move around. She seemed to enjoy it and had great fun cantering around. Stitch and Granite liked her too and followed her everywhere! Nevada will begin her under saddle work in earnest the first week of July when Shiloh Rider, Elisa, is back at Shiloh five days a week...
