A television interview that Tony and I did last year for a cable TV station geared toward agriculture, horses, etc, was re-aired this past week.
I, as I always do when it is rerun, received many emails asking how I can say that horse slaughter is not a viable option, how they would not mind their horses being slaughtered after their usefulness is over, that horse slaughter is a humane type of euthanasia, etc, etc, etc...
For those people who are pro-slaughter, you might want to take a look at these newly released photographs of horses who were injured while being transported to slaughter. Now, give us your excuses...

All I can say is thank God we are heading up to the Fallon Auction this weekend to save more horses.

Oh My God...my heart aches for these horses...no one or any live creature should EVER have to suffer the pain, fear and the craziness of this situation...a poor baby! I said stick all those pro-slaughter people in these cattle trucks packed like sardines for hours on end with no water,food,space,etc and see what they say at the end of the road,if they manage to arrive alive!
I wish we could save them all.
Bring home as many as you can Jill and company on your next rescue trip!
