Saturday

It has been a very busy few days at the rescue. We are all working hard to get our new Isolation Pasture area fenced in and cleaned up. We received grant funding for this project. We are removing single isolation corrals, adding a new fence line and then moving and reusing the single corrals on the rescue side of the ranch.

We used two corrals to add to our Medical Area...

Taking corrals down in the new Isolation area...

Our new corral panels, thanks to our grant!

Eric and his BFF, Sarge...

Eric working hard hoeing the weeds down...

Sharil dismantled corrals...

So did Dave. Dave is our Equipment Manager and is working really hard to get our areas fixed up. Thanks Dave!

Sally, working hard. Don't forget, it is about 107 degrees out there, so this is no easy job!
Eric tries to hide to avoid having to pull more weeds...

Meanwhile, back on the Rescue side of the ranch...
Elisa on Banjo. He is doing great and will be looking for his new home very soon. I am working on his under saddle video now.

Gentry is doing wonderful and will also be looking for his new home. He is now at the walk, trot and canter. I am also working on his adoption video...

After he was worked, Gentry clowned around a bit with Elisa's helmet...
This is Willie Nelson, an 18 year old Appaloosa gelding who came from our Farrier. He is well broke, sound and seems very friendly.

BB watched his neighbor, Sky, take a nice roll...

Sally and BB under City Center. BB is heading to his new home in CA early on Monday morning. We will miss the little guy, but it is time for him to move on to his new life and future.

Elisa worked with Indio...

While Jimmy Dean cooled off in a mud puddle....

Aztec and Mojo ate some feed during the Breakfast Club....

And then headed off to the cool shelter of City Center.

Sabine rode Truce...

And then Kerkorian.

A Busy Saturday!
