First off, we finally caught Vanilla so we could get her hooves trimmed. She is not very cooperative with the Farrier, so we gave her a little bit of sedation and after that Osbaldo was able to get her trimmed. Afterwards, we moved her into Easy Street pasture...
Felipe helped out...
Of course, the dogs were right there waiting to scoop up all of the trimmings...
We moved Fame into the Chicken Isolation pen as she has a bit of a runny nose and a slight fever. So we medicated her and she settled into her new pen and ate a yummy mash...
Sanctuary Horse, Freedom, in Assisted Living...
Old girl, Heavenly, also in Assisted Living...
Sienna has really rounded out and we will be moving her out of Assisted Living soon...
Melvyn, looking downright plump!
The Gummies serenely eating their Equine Senior...
Sally cleaned and medicated Rugrat's eyes. Rugrat has always had very sensitive eyes. She is spending a few days in the Barn so we can more easily treat her...
Wampum also has sore eyes, so he is spending a few days in our new Medical Area pens for his treatment. We have had strong winds and lots of flying dust the last few days which can irritate eyes.
A shot of the added Medical Area pens. They are already coming in handy. We like to put wound care horses in this area because it is right next to City Center which is where we clean wounds, etc...
Raz, looking very bothered that I would take her photo while she eats...
Higgins is gaining weight nicely. He was very thin when he arrived a few months ago.
Falcon in Mesquite Manor...
And the little Icey, Lyfting, also in Mesquite Manor...
Look who wants some attention! Aztec just waited patiently for someone to come and work on him in the stock...
Elisa rode Hutch. He did very well and stayed very quiet.
