I was able to get out to Shiloh for a few hours this morning, it was so wonderful to be out with the horses!
The Fallon feedlot horses will be arriving tonight, they were delayed a day...
We had another new arrival a few days ago. Sky, a thin Arabian gelding was donated by his owners. He is about 20 years old and maybe can find a home of his own once he is back to health. He seems very friendly and is interested in his new home and new diet.
Sky in the Mare Motel...
Helga gave her favorite horse, Hutch, a nice cool bath today under City Center...
Elisa hosed down Nevada... But only after she worked with her and rode her. Nevada is going to make a very nice riding horse, she just needs work. But she is a quick learner and is willing...
Over in Easy Street, Peace Pipe hung out with his new BFF, Moose the Mule. Moose was wandering freely but slipped into Easy Street during a morning feeding and decided to stay!
Sunny in the Barn...
Elisa worked with both new horses, Dash and Roulette (here she is bringing them both back to the Isolation area). Dash is suffering from a hoof abscess and Roulette has some hind end stiffness which we are hoping will resolve with steady light work and a legend shot...
Felipe herded Daisy back into the barn for her morning feeding...
Sally cleaned up Latilla while Mojo and Aztec "helped"...
Emily and Sandi gave Image a nice cool bath...
Breeze and Brisa in Kinder Care. Brisa is getting big!
Elisa began to work with Stitch today. She lunged him and will hop on him in a few days...
