First off we said good bye to Black Magic as she left for her new home this morning. She hopped in the trailer and is off to her new future. Happy Trails Black Magic!
We are in the process of rescuing five more Fallon feedlot horses, we paid $2025.00 for all five using our Slaughter Fund. There are some really nice looking horses in this group and hopefully all will become adoptable once they are evaluated. They will arrive at Shiloh within a week...
We had two new arrivals at Shiloh this morning, meet Cricket and her six week old filly, Butterfly. These horses were originally in the possession of the Nye County (Pahrump) Animal Control and were taken in and then donated to Shiloh by a caring horsewoman.
Butterfly is a beauty and like her name flits around looking at everything!
Cricket is a Morgan mare. Once Butterfly is weaned at about 6 months of age, we can evaluate Cricket for possible adoption to a new home. But for now, mom and baby will enjoy some together time and eventually they will join the Kinder Care herd...
Vic, looking cute in the Gummies...
Falcon, another Gummie Pen member...
Sally and I are getting to Shiloh at 6am all this week, some of the horses are still sleeping when we arrive. Here is Echo Echo dozing in Mesquite Manor before breakfast...
Brisa and Breeze in Kinder Care. That Brisa is just too cute!
