Fame is now in the Medical Area. We are treating her stapled sore, it's looking good but we put this fly sheet on to keep the flies off. We have such bad flies this summer, I think the unusually wet weather we had created a fly population boom! Our poor Fly Predators just can't keep up!

This is Sadler, he returned to Shiloh this past weekend. His old racing days caught up with him, he was showing lameness in his hip and he just couldn't hold up to the jumping that he was doing. Although he wasn't staying sound enough for over fences work, he was otherwise doing really well in his adoptive home and he looks wonderful. Big thanks to Esther and Talisman Farms for taking such great care of him! After some time off at Shiloh in one of our pastures, we will re-evaluate him for possible adoption to a pleasure riding home. I couldn't get a better photo of him because he wouldn't take his head out of the feed manger! :o)
