Sad news as Sanctuary Horse, Soot, passed away in his pasture last night.
Soot was with us at Shiloh for two years, he was an old ranch gelding who was rescued from the Fallon, NV auction. He spent his days in the Okay Corral pasture with his best friend, Falcon.
Soot was happy and fat right up to the end and he lived a relaxing horse life for the last years of his life. We always hate to say good bye to our old friends, but we can be at peace with the ending of their Shiloh Journey, as we know they were loved and cared for on their twillight years.
Rest in peace, Sooty.
