Abuelo

Some sad news today as kind old Abuelo passed away sometime late last night. He was found early this morning in his Assisted Living pasture. There was absolutely no sign of a struggle and it looks like he just passed away. Abuelo, who was 30+ years of age, was only at Shiloh for a month, but we know that his last few weeks were very good for him. He did great in the Assisted Living herd, loved his daily Equine Senior, and wore a nice warm blanket. He seemed very happy, relaxed, and content. We are very happy that we had him at Shiloh for the time we did. He deserved a quiet and safe place to live the remainder of his days. Rest in Peace, Abuelo.

Some happy news as Tommy Haflinger has an adoption pending to the Pache family of CA where he will join another former Shiloh horse, Blackjack, in his new home. Here is a message for his new young owner, "Happy Birthday Aubrie, Love you always Grandma Jane." This is the perfect home for Tommy where he will become a Pony Club mount for Aubrie, we couldn't ask for a better family for him to go to...
