The Newest Fallon Feedlot Horses

These are photos of the 8 new rescues on the Fallon Feedlot. They will be shipping to Shiloh either Thursday or Friday of next week.

We saved all 8 for a total of $1750.00. We used our Slaughter Fund as well as Shiloh's general account to pay for them.

Friendly little black colt.

Paint colt- coming 4 years old. Look at that facial marking- very unique! He looks like an antelope...

Older paint gelding for kids/family.

A young filly.

A friendly Thoroughbred gelding.

Another Thoroughbred gelding, 8-9 years old.

Paint colt.

Older kids/family horse.

THANK YOU, Shiloh, for saving them! They do look pitiful and under your care, they will received good care and loving! Can't wait to see the updates on them! Great job, ladies! And, yes, MANY California horses DO end up on slaughter feedlots in other states. I should know. I have 2 horses from a slaughter-bound feedlot myself.

False adversting, one only needs to go to shiloh to see the conditions of some of these horses that are rescued - sounds to me like this person did not get her facts straight or is in denial about what truly happens to these horses at these feed lots. I support shiloh for their efforts in saving these horses, clients that are looking for horses i ask that they consider adopting from shiloh first so these horses can have a 2nd chance at finding a loving home.
