Some sad news as we are now very concerned with Arson's foot. We have been doing everything we can to help him get better, but we might be losing the battle. We are having our vet out tomorrow morning to help us make a decision. We are very afraid that Arson may have to be put down...
We are going to think positive tonight, but we are prepared to make that difficult decision tomorrow. We do not want Arson to suffer in any way. Please think good thoughts for him...
But, Life goes on...
Truce and Gentry played in the turn out...
Gentry is such a neat horse! Gentry's tail bone (the Dock) has actually been broken so that he carries it in the Saddlebred show fashion. A very archaic and ridiculous tradition...
Truce kicked up his heels...
Jackson was moved back into Little Vacation Village, which made him very, very happy!
Veteran has really filled out!
The Blind Girls' lake.
Lindsey Loham was out strolling today! She is looking great!

Arson, My heart is breaking right now...You have been through so much this past year...I wish I could take the pain from you...Really I do...Be good tonight and stay strong..<3
Love you Arson...you are a very special horse to all of us at Shiloh. I am praying for good news tomorrow, but I do not want you to be in pain. Many tears from all of us who know you and love you.
Poor Arson, he is so beautiful. What a shame. As always you guys dedication and loving care has made his life better. I hope that he can heal but if he cannot you gave him the best chance you could. He will be in my prayers tonight.
Arson is in our prayers tonight.
So sorry that Arson may not have much longer with us, but so glad he has been a beloved member of the Shiloh family, where he has had and will continue to have, as long as it is in his best interest, the best care imaginable- plus the love of many who have come to know him... So grateful he ended up at Shiloh, where he has been given such opportunity to live out his best life, however long or short... Still so sad for us, though. They are all amazing souls, but the real troopers who keep trying- well, we all know how much it hurts when we lose one of our family of friends...
