NOTICE: Shiloh will be closed to all Visitors and Volunteers from December 15th until December 19th. We will be open for the rest of December...
Shiloh raised $2500.00 in Chicago last week by selling our beaded horseshoes and from a percentage of Tony's sales at his events. Sally and I work hard so that we can earn money for Shiloh and not just relay on donations from all of our generous supporters out there.
It was a cold start to Weds, but the sun came out and warmed things up a bit. There is a layer of frost on the ground in the mornings and all of the water buckets are iced over.
The pass on the way to Shiloh...
From Little Vacation Village with Mount Charleston in the background. All the pens are wet from the frost, so things are a bit muddy.
Balboa in The Big Pasture.
Champ in the Okay Corral.
Spur, Koby, Breezer and Spartacus...
Our golf cart- now we drive around piled high with blankets...
Mendoza napped in his outdoor run and enjoyed the sun with Jimmy Dean...
We moved the four new Thoroughbreds out of Isolation and into the Mare Motel. Eventually, some of them will be put out into a pasture for some down time after the racetrack.
Good friends, Longfellow and Veteran were moved into a Duplex. They are still gaining weight and eventually will be moved into one of our senior pastures to maintain their weight.
